Wild Goose Chase in Easton

I was invited to design a window display around my flying machines for The Little Yellow Paintbrush, a gallery in Easton MD. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun.
Easton is host to a huge waterfowl festival every November so I decided a boat full of geese would be the next victims for these blue bird search party.
The display will be up until the end of the month. Maybe longer. From the outsideFrom the inside.I think they have caught one.
I think this is my favorite flying machine so far.
A boat full of geese.
Geese booty.

Waves crashing against the boat. Making these wave layers was tough. Sewing this sheer fabric is a battle, but it really looks great when the sun comes through and one layer shows through to the next.
