Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is around the corner. Ever since "The Great Heart War" series I have wanted to make jars with hearts in them. I have a Valentine's theme craft show coming up and Thanks to Oliver I have plenty of baby food jars saved. Perfect!!! It would be great I I could wire them up with an LED so they could light up,but I have some testing to do.

Wasn't enough room in the dungeon to put a felt bird. Or a castle on top like the sketch. Guess I will have to make another one.

Mamaw's Fabric

This year I lost my Mamaw in March. She was such a big part in my introduction to sewing and my love of birds. To my great joy, her old fabrics were given to me. I have been going through them cutting strips (hopefully for quilts one day). Some of them are such gems. I would like to share them here as I come across my favorites.
