The next step in the process is done. Usually I would stop here, put on the back layer and get them ready to hang. The end. But not this time. These pieces have a greater purpose. Stay tuned to find out what.... If you dare. Mmwwhahahahahah. ( That is my mad scientist chuckle. Happy Halloween!)

Making Geese for "Wild Goose Chase"
Making Plush Geese was an interesting process. I didn't have a pattern so I had to figure out the piecing for myself. I ended up making fifteen for my installation. I loved stuffing them. With no pattern they all ended up with their own unique character. These are the cut fabric pieces readed to be sewn. (I need a new iron!!!)All these feet.

Catching the Big One
I am going to have a nephew!!!!"Catching the Big One"
My baby brother, Scott, and wife, Beverly are due to give birth later on this month. We are all so excited to welcome Michael Leon Carlisle into the family. I made this picture for the nursery. They settled on a cute turtle theme for the decor. I figure Scott will pass on his love for fishing to his son so why not get a head start on how to catch a big one. Beverly and Scott

Night Owls
This is a piece I made for a dear old friend and a new one in celebration of their union. Seems like I have had a lot of occasions to make for, but It's a really nice break from school to make things specifically for someone.
